Description

Returns the slot index of the caret within the cached physical left-to-right visual caret order

The position is set by MoveVisualCaret and resets to -1 whenever the cached order is invalidated or a logical selection change bypasses visual movement, such as SetSelectionRange, line navigation or history steps

A logical index can occupy two distinct visual slots at a mixed-direction boundary, so this slot index disambiguates repeated visual movement through that boundary

Returns the zero-based slot index within GetVisualCaretOrder results, or -1 when no visual move has selected a slot
