Description

Returns the bidirectional paragraph direction that visual caret navigation currently uses

When TextDirection holds an explicit value, that value is returned unchanged

When TextDirection is ftdAuto, the direction is resolved from the first strong directional character of the active edit value, defaulting to ftdLeftToRight when the value contains no strong directional character

Value

Returns ftdLeftToRight or ftdRightToLeft after automatic resolution, or the explicitly configured direction
