THotPDF.SetVerticalDefaultMetrics Method

Sets the vertical advance and origin used when a registered font lacks usable vertical metrics

procedure SetVerticalDefaultMetrics(AdvanceY, OriginY: Integer);

Parameters

• AdvanceY is the positive downward advance in 1000-unit glyph space
• OriginY is the default vertical origin coordinate

Return value

This procedure does not return a value

Usage notes

• A non-positive AdvanceY raises an exception
• The defaults are emitted through /DW2 and used for glyphs without an explicit /W2 metric
