HPDFComposeHeadlessRichOverflowAppearanceWithWorkspace function
function HPDFComposeHeadlessRichOverflowAppearanceWithWorkspace(
const Placements: THPDFHeadlessAppearancePlacements;
FirstObjectNumber, MaximumObjects: Integer;
const Options: THPDFHeadlessTextAppearanceOptions;
Workspace: THPDFWorkspaceAdmission): THPDFHeadlessTextAppearance;
Declared in HPDFHeadlessAppearance; composes inner structured rich-layout fragments while preserving their visible paint overflow
Geometry and object identities
Use finite positive layout width and height, finite placement coordinates and positive scales, a positive first object number and a sufficient consecutive object range
Options.Rotation must be zero; the outer Widget composer owns final quarter-turn rotation and clipping
Child bundles must occupy consecutive identities after the composite form and must fit within MaximumObjects; the form BBox expands to include supported child and decoration paint bounds without changing the logical layout dimensions
Ownership and failure
The caller owns the returned appearance and must free it; the workspace and cancellation token remain caller-owned
Successful composition transfers child objects into the returned bundle; the child bundle containers remain caller-owned, with their transferred object slots detached
Validate and reserve the complete object range before composing; a later generated-object admission failure frees the consumed composed result rather than returning a partial bundle
Invalid options, identity ranges, byte limits, cancellation or workspace rejection propagate through the appearance and workspace error paths
This layout-only helper does not update a field or save a PDF; existing general appearance composers retain their original clipping behavior
