Tells you whether form fields created from now on will receive appearance streams given the current output settings

This member takes no parameters
Return value
True where AutoFormAppearances is switched on or the output version is PDF 2.0; False in every other case
Usage notes
- PDF 2.0 insists on an appearance stream for every widget (ISO 32000-2 Table 166) and does away with /NeedAppearances, so the version on its own switches appearance generation on
- Guided by this decision, the AcroForm writer emits /NeedAppearances only where appearance streams are not being generated, and leaves it out altogether for PDF/A output
- Call it when you are building fields through the low-level loaded-document helpers and want to mirror HotPDF's behaviour
