etkChildByName | Child document selected through an EmbeddedFiles name-tree entry; EmbeddedFileName becomes the /N string beside /R /C |
etkChildByAnnotationIndex | Child document reached through a file-attachment annotation identified by page index plus annotation index, written as the numeric /P and /A entries |
etkChildByAnnotationName | Child document reached through a file-attachment annotation identified by page name plus annotation name, written as the /P and /A strings |
Usage notes
- Build target paths with the
HPDFEmbeddedParentTarget,HPDFEmbeddedFileTargetandHPDFEmbeddedAnnotationTargethelpers so each entry fills only the fields its kind reads - Serialisation raises an exception when a child entry leaves the fields required by its kind empty, such as an empty
EmbeddedFileNameunderetkChildByName - The path serialises from the last entry backwards, nesting each step under the
/Tkey of the previous entry to form the ordered chain
