Remarks

The initial status is not_checked; invalid or failed calls replace the prior report with error, and successful capture returns completed

A completed export is not a guarantee of exact visual equivalence: inspect hasPixelLoss, hasApproximation, usedRasterFallback and the per-operation diagnostics

Each diagnostic records a state index, code, message and individual pixel loss, approximation and raster fallback flags; counts summarize emitted paths, images and text items

Visible annotation appearances are disclosed as missing when they are outside the page-content capture; ordinary annotation links remain clickable overlays

The getter does not clear the latest error; the DLL A variant always returns UTF-8 and DLL string pointers remain valid until the next string-returning call on this instance
