PageObjectMarks method

Component: TPdf  ·  Unit: PDFium
Read the marked-content tags attached to one page object

Syntax

function PageObjectMarks(Index: Integer): TPdfContentMarks;

IndexInteger. Zero-based index of the page object
ResultTPdfContentMarks. Array of marks, each with a Name and a Params array of key/value entries. Empty when the object carries no mark

Description

Marked content (ISO 32000-1 14.6) is the BDC/EMC pair that tags page content with a name and an optional property list. Tagged PDF, PDF/UA and optional-content groups all build on it, so reading the marks is how a caller finds out which logical role a piece of content plays

Each parameter carries a Kind discriminator - pmpInt, pmpFloat, pmpString or pmpBlob - and only the matching value field is meaningful. pmpUnknown covers both an unrecognised type and a key that does not exist, because PDFium reports the two identically

The /MCID entry, which links content to a structure element, is reported separately by PageObjectMarkedContentID
