Native XFA Concealed Alias Synchronization
CommitEdit synchronizes existing scalar form values for every field bound to the changed native data node, including fields with hidden or invisible presence that have no visible widget
Shared values
Reading a scalar value property can create its native form value leaf; a subsequent interactive edit of another field sharing its data node updates that leaf before validation and calculation
The native scan walks template fields and their actual data scopes through subform, area and exclGroup containers; it observes the configured ResolveInstanceScope and ResolveInstanceProperty callbacks when resolving named subform instances
Repeated occurrences remain independent unless their binding explicitly selects the same data node; the scan does not create missing scalar properties or allocate a form packet solely to update an unmaterialized alias
Clearing the edit creates an explicit empty text node in existing scalar leaves, and Unicode text persists through native save and reload
Atomic work limits
The scan consumes the current transaction operation budget and checks its elapsed-time deadline; traversal is bounded to 200000 scan operations and 64 levels
Validation failure or exhausted work limits restore the previous dataset and native form values together; concealed aliases cannot retain a partially committed value
Verified persistence
The focused four-target fixture verifies hidden and invisible aliases, visible widget reads, repeated-instance isolation, unnamed area traversal, empty values, Unicode, native reload and byte-exact rollback
An independent XML reader checks saved XDP files and unchanged template nodes; this evidence does not claim Unicode widget appearance generation or calculation events for concealed fields
