THotPDF.SetLoadedAnnotationName Method

Sets the annotation /NM unique name used to identify the annotation independently of its title

Declaration

procedure SetLoadedAnnotationName(PageIndex, AnnotationIndex: Integer; const AName: AnsiString);

Parameters

• PageIndex is the zero-based loaded page index
• AnnotationIndex is the zero-based annotation index on that page
• AName is the new unique annotation name

Usage notes

• Invalid indexes leave the loaded document unchanged
• Choose names that remain unique within the document when external workflows address annotations by /NM
• The edit persists through both full and incremental loaded-document saves
