THotPDF Advanced Published Properties

This page collects newer or workflow-specific THotPDF published properties that do not have a separate topic page. They are part of the component surface and can be assigned from Delphi, C++Builder, or the Object Inspector when applicable

Encryption and Version Control

`UseAES256R6`	`Boolean`	`false`	Selects the PDF 2.0 R=6 AES-256 security-handler algorithm when CryptKeyLength is `aes256`. Leave it off for the broader Acrobat 9+ R=5 compatibility path; turn it on for workflows that require the R=6 algorithm
`StrictVersionLock`	`Boolean`	`false`	Controls feature version gating. With the default value, HotPDF can raise Version automatically when a feature needs a newer PDF version. When set to `true`, feature methods that would require a newer PDF version refuse to emit instead of promoting the file

Metadata, Tagged PDF, and Standards

Compression and Copy Handling

PDF/A Default Color Spaces

RegisterDefaultColorSpace - Maps DefaultGray, DefaultRGB, or DefaultCMYK to an ICCBased color space registered by RegisterICCProfile, so Device color use can be made explicit before PDF/A color checks

UsedDeviceGray, UsedDeviceRGB, UsedDeviceCMYK - Read-only flags showing whether DeviceGray, DeviceRGB, or DeviceCMYK content was used while building the document

Text shaping and compact font output

ShapingFeatures documents the current GSUB/GPOS shaping flags, including typographic feature flags, figure-style flags, complex-script preprocess flags, sfKerning, sfMarkPositioning, sfTibetanShaping, sfMongolianShaping, and sfIndicGSUB

SimpleLatinFonts documents the compact Base14 / WinAnsi path for printable ASCII text

script shaping preprocess methods covers AutoShapeNko, AutoShapeAdlam, AutoShapeHanifiRohingya, and the Thai/Lao, Hebrew, Javanese, Tai Viet, Meetei Mayek, Khmer, and Myanmar preprocess flags; the GPOS page now covers contextual and vertical kerning plus mark-to-ligature placement

Runtime State

AutoShapeArabic enables producer-side Arabic shaping before text output. IsHaveSimpleText and IsEncrypted expose simple-text and encryption state for the current or loaded document

Prepress and Graphics-State Helpers

RegisterSoftMaskState, RegisterTransferFunctionState, RegisterHalftoneType1, RegisterHalftoneState, and RegisterPrintControlState register specialised ExtGState or halftone resources for transparency, transfer-function, screening, overprint, stroke-adjustment, rendering-intent, and flatness workflows

OutputIntent Helpers

AddPDFAOutputIntent and AddPDFXOutputIntent wrap ICC profile registration plus Catalog /OutputIntents creation for PDF/A and PDF/X production. Use them before EndDoc whenever the corresponding compliance property is enabled

Type 3 Font Glyphs

RegisterType3Font creates a caller-defined Type 3 font resource and AddType3Glyph adds the individual glyph content streams. Select the resource on a page with THPDFPage.SetType3Font before writing text

PDF/A Convenience and Associated Files

PDFAConformanceLevel, IsPDFA1Strict, and IsPDFA2OrLater expose the active PDF/A part and conformance branch for caller logic. EnsurePDFAImplementationLimits checks PDF/A-2 and PDF/A-3 implementation limits for metadata strings, /Lang, and page boxes before EndDoc. AddPDFA3AssociatedFile attaches PDF/A-3 Annex E associated files with /AFRelationship; AddFacturXAssociatedFile adds the Factur-X invoice XML, EmbeddedFiles name-tree entry, and XMP metadata for PDF/A-3 invoice workflows; FacturXWarnings reports non-fatal supporting-attachment warnings for those workflows; AddXAdESAssociatedFile embeds caller-generated XAdES XML as an associated file for XAdES-in-PDF workflows
