THPDFPage.ShowImageMatrix Method
Places a registered image XObject through an exact six-parameter matrix in the current PDF user space
Declaration
procedure ShowImageMatrix(ImageIndex: Integer; A, B, C, D, E, F: Single);
void __fastcall ShowImageMatrix(int ImageIndex, float A, float B, float C, float D, float E, float F);
Unit
HPDFDoc
Parameters
| Name | Purpose |
|---|---|
ImageIndex | Index returned by an AddImage, AddImageWithMask, or AddImageWithSMask API |
A, B, C, D | Linear components that scale, rotate, reflect, or shear the image unit square |
E, F | Translation components in the current PDF user space |
Behavior
- Registers the selected image in the current page XObject resources once and reuses an existing alias for repeated placements
- Writes an isolated
q,cm,Do,Qsequence so the matrix does not escape into later page content - Maps the image XObject unit square directly through
[A B C D E F] - Does not apply document measurement conversion, Y-coordinate projection, aspect-ratio fitting, or automatic rotation
- Rejects an invalid image index and every non-finite matrix component
Example
ImageIndex := Document.AddImage(Bitmap, icFlate);
Document.CurrentPage.ShowImageMatrix(
ImageIndex,
120, 0,
0, 80,
36, 540);
