Fields

• Name is the safe 1 to 127 character resource name used by the Form content stream
• ImageIndex selects an image already registered with the document
• UseImageSoftMask binds the image's existing grayscale /SMask XObject instead of its color image stream

Behavior

Using UseImageSoftMask avoids decoding or duplicating alpha pixels when a source image already owns an indirect soft-mask stream

Invalid names, duplicate names, invalid image indices, and images without a usable soft mask are rejected before the Form XObject is created
