Contextual headless rich text

Typed native rich appearances preserve complete Unicode joining context across adjacent font, color and empty style runs while retaining exact logical V and canonical RV values

Fitting still uses complete Unicode word and grapheme boundaries; the final pass shapes each selected style item within its actual physical line and places items according to paragraph direction and embedding levels

Arabic initial, medial and final forms retain surrounding letters across style seams, mixed Latin and RTL items keep their visual order, and Hebrew italic styles use the actual caller-supplied italic and bold-italic font programs

Wrapped physical lines retain the direction inferred from the original logical paragraph; joining context ends at the physical line boundary

Each child appearance retains its own genuine font, point size, color, CID glyph map, ToUnicode, logical ActualText and positioned glyph program; the parent applies visual item coordinates without changing object ownership or logical rich styles

The existing character spacing, word spacing, line alignment, metrics, font permissions, object budgets, cancellation and transactional field update rules remain applicable

Cross-font combining mark anchors, explicit embedding controls spanning physical lines and broader XHTML/CSS layout remain separate active work; a style-seam grapheme sharing one physical baseline does not establish complete mark-to-base placement
