Behavior
Supply an existing Java executable and the Saxon HE class path with its runtime dependencies, and a zero timeout selects 60000 milliseconds
Timeouts above 3600000 milliseconds raise an exception, diagnostic output is limited to 8 MiB, and compiled stylesheets and SVRL reports are limited to 64 MiB before loading
The Windows XE2 and later implementation securely parses input XML, launches Java without a shell or visible console, parses SVRL, and fails closed on missing runtime, wrong syntax, timeout, or invalid output
