HPDFASCII85DecodeStream Procedure
Decodes ASCII85 data incrementally from one caller-owned stream to another
Declaration
procedure HPDFASCII85DecodeStream(Input, Output: TStream;
RequireTerminator: Boolean; out Info: THPDFASCII85DecodeInfo);
Unit
HPDFTypes
Parameters
| Name | Purpose |
|---|---|
Input | ASCII85 source at its current position |
Output | Destination that receives decoded bytes at its current position |
RequireTerminator | Requires the exact PDF ~> end marker when True |
Info | Receives consumed and produced byte counts, end-marker state, partial-group length, and zero-shortcut count |
Usage notes
- Whitespace permitted by PDF is ignored between encoded characters
- The
zshortcut is accepted only at a group boundary - When the input is seekable, bytes buffered after the end marker remain unread for the caller
- Invalid characters, one-character final groups, groups outside the 32-bit range, or malformed end markers raise
EConvertError - The procedure does not own either stream and the input and output must be different
