TXFANode Class
TXFANode stores the local name, namespace prefix and URI, text value, CDATA flag, XML content kind, processing-instruction target, parent, ordered attributes, namespace declarations and owned children for one XFA element or #text node
The public AnsiString XML names, namespace URIs, attribute parameters and text values contain UTF-8 bytes; string-list storage uses the compiler's native representation and serialisation converts it back to UTF-8
AttrValue , HasAttr and FindChild query the node; SetAttribute , RemoveAttribute , AddElement , AddText , SetText , RemoveChild and ClearChildren perform ownership-safe edits and maintain text aggregation
Parsed namespace declarations retain an explicit empty default declaration ( xmlns="" ), including through native serialisation, reload and transactional Data DOM restoration; an unqualified descendant must not inherit an ancestor's default namespace after a save
Identity is a process-local monotonic identifier for the node object; it is not serialised and changes on document reload
Use TXFAPacketDOM.SelectNodes for bounded multi-node path queries and let the owning DOM serialise the result
Direct and descendant queries accept Unicode local names with optional numeric indices; attribute limits count UTF-8 bytes, and unchanged Unicode assignments preserve original packet bytes
XMLContentKind and XMLInstructionTarget retain nontext XML metadata; AddComment and AddProcessingInstruction validate and append owned content without changing aggregate text
