THotPDF.SetStructureClassMapEntry Method
Sets structure class map entry state for subsequent Tagged PDF accessibility output. The setting affects later page drawing, page dictionary entries, conformance metadata or text emission rather than already-written content
Declaration
procedure SetStructureClassMapEntry(const AClass: AnsiString; AttrDict: THPDFDictionaryObject);
Unit
HPDFDoc
Parameters
| Name | Purpose |
|---|---|
AClass | The class name picked up from the /C entry of structure elements (see SetStructureElementClass); it must not be empty |
AttrDict | The attribute dictionary which elements of this class inherit, or nil to do away with the class entry (the final removal takes /ClassMap with it) |
Return value
This member returns no value
Usage notes
- Use this API in the Tagged PDF accessibility workflow before the affected page, resource, field or catalogue object is finalised
- The document takes ownership of
AttrDict, so do not free it yourself. One dictionary may be registered beneath several class names — or once more under the same name — and doing away with one entry leaves the rest untouched - Keep object names, field names, resource names and returned handles stable until the document is finalised
- Keep begin and end calls balanced, provide alternate text for non-text content and attach MCID values to the right page content
