THotPDF.GetLoadedFormFieldMaxLength Method

Returns the maximum character count for a loaded text field, whilst resolving indirect and inherited /MaxLen entries

Parameters

• FieldIndex is the zero-based index of the loaded form field

Return value

Returns the non-negative /MaxLen value, or zero when the field or entry is absent or invalid

The nearest local value takes precedence over its ancestors; reading the value does not copy it into the child field
