THotPDF.ComposeLoadedPagesNUp Method

Declaration

function ComposeLoadedPagesNUp(Columns, Rows: Integer;
  DrawFrames: boolean= false; Gutter: Single= 6): Integer;

Behaviour

N-up imposition: reflows every page of the loaded document onto grid-composed sheets of the source paper size, producing 2-up, 4-up, 6-up and denser layouts. Each source page becomes a form XObject placed in its cell with its /Rotate value absorbed into the placement matrix, so it is turned clockwise precisely as a viewer shows it. Page boxes and /Rotate inherited from the page tree are honoured, and the new sheets are never turned or cropped by values coming down the page tree; DrawFrames strokes a hairline cell border and Gutter is the cell spacing in points. The composed sheets are appended and the source pages are then removed

Returns the number of composed sheets, or 0 for a single-page document or a degenerate grid with fewer than two cells per sheet
