Usage notes
- Register a handler for a kind with
AddPageLayer; each kind runs at most once per page even where several registrations exist - Handlers run between
GStateSaveandGStateRestoreso that graphics state changes do not leak into the page content - Applied kinds are recorded among the layout diagnostics under the names background, header, footer and foreground
