THPDFPageDisplayList.QueryObjectIndexes Method

Collects the zero-based indexes of every paint object whose compiled bounds intersect the query rectangle

Declaration

function QueryObjectIndexes(Left, Bottom, Right,
  Top: Double): THPDFDisplayListObjectIndexes;

Parameters

Left, Bottom, Right and Top define the query rectangle in compiled page space, matching the coordinate space of the object bounds given by GetObject

Return value

THPDFDisplayListObjectIndexes, an array of zero-based paint-object indexes in display-list order; empty for an empty rectangle (Right<=Left or Top<=Bottom)

Usage notes

• The intersection test is strict, so objects that merely brush the rectangle edge are not reported
• Paint objects without bounds, such as state-only operators, are always included so that callers can walk the full program
• Use GetObject on each returned index to inspect kind, operator index, bounds and clip flags
