Call THPDFHeadlessXFDFOptions.Default before changing individual limits

MemberDefaultPurpose
MaxBytes16777216XFDF input/output, individual attachment bytes and stamp appearance exchange bytes
MaxAnnotations10000Source annotation scan or appended annotation count
MaxNodes1000000Bounded graph/XML traversal and node storage admission
MaxDepth32Maximum admitted nesting, with a supported ceiling of 64; the stamp typed-XML wrapper reserves two nesting levels within that ceiling
MaxWorkingBytes134217728Conservative reservation for snapshots, strings, XML, prepared PDF objects and serialisation
CancellationTokennilOptional cooperative cancellation token

All numeric limits must be positive; an existing document cancellation token and an import token must identify the same token when both are supplied

Export reserves space for both accumulated XML and returned bytes, and import reserves XML/tree storage before preparing an incremental graph

Document limits and Linux C ABI operation limits also apply; raising an XFDF limit does not increase those independent capacities

Annotation profile and transaction semantics

Standard stamp appearance transport preserves actual Form streams and bounded acyclic font, image and graphics resources through base64 typed XML

Stamp appearance reservations include encoded keys, expanded resources, stream encoding and XML/base64 conversion copies before allocation; this conservative operation total can exceed the final output size
