THPDFCorpusStoreAction Type
Reports what the corpus minimisation and store routine wrote to the regression corpus
Declaration
THPDFCorpusStoreAction= (csaAdded, csaReplaced, csaKeptExisting);
Unit
HPDFDoc
Values
| Value | Meaning |
|---|---|
csaAdded | No case file existed yet and the minimised case bytes were written as a new corpus entry |
csaReplaced | An existing case file was overwritten because the new minimised bytes differ from the stored ones |
csaKeptExisting | The existing stored bytes already match, so no file is rewritten |
Usage notes
- The value is returned in the Action field of THPDFCorpusCaseInfo once a corpus store run has finished, next to the original and stored byte counts and the content SHA-256
- csaKeptExisting is the only outcome that skips the atomic write, so repeated runs over unchanged input leave the corpus undisturbed
- Combine with the minimisation info in the same record to see how far the case shrank before being stored
