GetName supplies a diagnostic engine name whilst Detect returns zero-based UTF-16 spans, categories, and confidence values

The detector must honour MaxResults and cancellation, must not retain the request text or token, and must return False with a diagnostic for an operational failure

HotPDF validates every span and maps accepted ranges through extracted character quadrilaterals into page-space findings
