Decodes the current scalar or XHTML pushbutton caption using the same template defaults and parser as native caption appearance preparation

Families must contain one through sixteen declared family labels; this function uses the labels for decoding and does not read or mutate their program arrays

DefaultStyle reports the effective template size, colour, alignment, weight, posture and declared typeface; the returned runs preserve inline formatting and paragraph boundaries

Set PreserveFontFamilyLists to retain the ordered authored labels in each run's FontFamilyCandidates, including labels that are not configured yet, before resolving an installed-font catalogue

The scalar path takes Unicode Text directly; the rich path decodes the current boolcaptionrichhex metadata and applies the object, code-unit and cancellation limits from Options

The caller retains ownership of the input arrays and owns the returned managed run array; this function performs no document mutation, GDI query or stream write
