Behaviour
Creates one worksheet per table using ZIP and SpreadsheetML parts, without Excel automation or an external spreadsheet runtime
Numbers, booleans, dates, date-times, currencies, and percentages retain their worksheet types and formats; integers requiring more than 15 decimal digits remain text to preserve precision
Text is stored as literal inline strings, including values beginning with an equals sign; invalid or overlapping merged ranges fail before publication
The optional hidden Source metadata sheet records original text, normalised value, source page, table index, coordinates, confidence, and value kind
Destination must support seeking and reading when existing bytes are overwritten; failed publication attempts restore overwritten bytes, length, and position when the stream permits rollback
Returns false with an explicit status and diagnostic for invalid options, budget exhaustion, cancellation, or write failure
