The caller performs filter and predictor decoding; positive MaxObjects bounds Size and subsection ranges, and the optional caller-owned cancellation token defaults to nil

Widths, payload length, subsection overlap, generations, and unsigned Int64 overflow are validated; errors raise EHPDFHeadlessXRefError, and dictionaries remain owned by the caller
