Hàm này dành làm công cụ chẩn đoán cho lập trình viên. Nó kiểm tra trạng thái hiện tại của tài liệu trong memory và báo các vấn đề có thể khiến validation PDF/UA-1 thất bại. Gọi sau khi nạp hoặc dựng tài liệu để phát hiện vấn đề trước khi lưu
Khi SetPDFUAMode đang hoạt động và tài liệu được lưu, một số vấn đề (ANNOT-NO-CONTENTS, EMBED-NO-AFR) được tự sửa trong lúc lưu. GetPDFUADiagnostics báo trạng thái trước khi lưu; các vấn đề sẽ được tự sửa khi lưu vẫn được liệt kê nếu chúng còn hiện diện trước khi lưu
