SetRenderOverprintSimulation
Rendering, color management, prepress
Description
Enables or disables overprint simulation while rendering PDF pages
The renderer reads the graphics-state /OP, /op, and /OPM entries and preserves overlapping process or named inks in the raster result
Syntax
Delphi
Function TPDFlib.SetRenderOverprintSimulation(Enable: Integer): Integer;DLL
int DLSetRenderOverprintSimulation(int InstanceID, int Enable);ActiveX
Function PDFlib::SetRenderOverprintSimulation(Enable As Long) As LongParameters
| Enable | Nonzero enables overprint simulation; 0 restores normal rendering |
|---|
Return values
| 1 | The setting was applied |
|---|
Remarks
Simulation is disabled by default so existing RGB rendering remains unchanged
In overprint mode 1, zero process components preserve destination ink; named color spaces preserve unmentioned process channels in both overprint modes
DeviceRGB painting is not treated as process-ink overprint
