Description

Enables or disables the built-in font fallback candidates used for missing shaped clusters

Parameters

Enable0 disables the built-in candidates; any other value enables them

Return values

Returns the previous state as 0 or 1

Remarks

Automatic fallback is enabled by default and selects installed faces suitable for CJK, symbols, emoji, mathematics, and complex scripts

Faces added with AddFontFallback remain active when the built-in candidates are disabled

Only clusters missing from the primary face use fallback, and unresolved clusters continue through the configured missing-glyph policy
