LinearizeFileA
Document manipulation, Miscellaneous functions
Description
The trailing A denotes the ANSI (char) DLL entry point; the ActiveX/COM surface exposes only the Unicode form. Behaviour is identical to LinearizeFile and string arguments are interpreted using the current SetAnsiMode code page
Linearizes the specified PDF file for fast web view.
Syntax
Delphi
Function DLLinearizeFileA(InstanceID: Integer; InputFileName, Password, OutputFileName: PAnsiChar; Options: Integer): Integer;
DLL
int DLLinearizeFileA(int InstanceID, const char * InputFileName, const char * Password, const char * OutputFileName, int Options);
Behavior
The first-page section includes annotation dictionaries and their reachable appearances, actions, and resources. Object ordering uses stable O(n log n) work, and deeply connected object graphs do not consume one call frame per reachable object
