Accepts string parameters as ANSI text and otherwise behaves identically to the wide-string entry point

Return values

Returns the rendered width in the active measurement units, or 0 for an invalid maximum width

Remarks

The DLL DLGetMarkdownTextWidthA variant accepts text according to the configured ANSI mode
