SetSignProcessDocMDP

Security and signatures

Description

This page describes DocMDP in PDF Library for Delphi under the "Security and signatures" topic. API names, parameters, class names, filenames, and literals are kept exactly as they appear in the Delphi library and DLL entry points.

The generated signature dictionary receives a /Reference entry with the requested permission level, and the document catalog receives a matching /Perms /DocMDP reference to that signature dictionary

Syntax

Delphi

Function TPDFlib.SetSignProcessDocMDP(SignProcessID, Level: Integer): Integer;

Parameters

Level0 disables certification, 1 permits no changes, 2 permits form filling and signing, and 3 additionally permits annotations

Returns

0The process identifier or level is invalid
1The requested level was stored on the signing process

Certification constraint

A certifying signature must be the document's first signed signature and the catalog must not already contain a DocMDP permission reference

Return Values

TPDFlibSignatureVerifier.GetSignaturePermissionInfo* reports the permission level, structural validity, and whether the catalog reference matches the selected signature
