Description

Selects PDF/R-1 raster exchange authoring for a new document and activates structural validation before every save

Parameters

NewMode	`1` selects PDF/R-1

Return value

1 when the mode was selected, or 0 for an invalid mode, a loaded document or a conflicting PDF/A, PDF/X, PDF/VT, PDF/UA or WTPDF configuration

Remarks

Unencrypted output uses PDF 1.7; encrypted output must use PDF 2.0 with Standard AES-256 revision 6

The mode disables object streams, append saves and PDF MAC, enables unreachable-object collection and suppresses the default open action

strip0, strip1 and subsequent image XObjects, one content stream and the operators q, cm, Do and QSaving writes

%PDF-raster-1.0 immediately before the final startxref and fails with LastErrorCode 607 if any restricted catalog, page, resource, image, colour, encoding, resolution or coverage rule is violated
