SetOutputIntentMixingHints

Compliance, colour management

Description

Creates or replaces the PDF 2.0 /MixingHints dictionary on the first output intent at a selected scope

Syntax

Delphi

Function SetOutputIntentMixingHints(PageNumber: Integer; Const ColorantSolidities, PrintingOrder: WideString): Integer;

Parameters

PageNumber0 for the Catalog output intent, or a one-based page number for an explicit page output intent
ColorantSoliditiesSemicolon-delimited Name=Value pairs where each value is between 0.0 and 1.0; Default supplies the fallback solidity
PrintingOrderSemicolon-delimited unique colourant names in physical ink laydown order

Return value

1 on success, or 0 when the target has no output intent, a name or value is invalid, PrintingOrder is missing for supplied solidities or a solidity colourant already has spectral data

Remarks

Passing two empty strings removes /MixingHints

The method never writes /DotGain, which PDF 2.0 forbids in an OutputIntent mixing hints dictionary; use SetOutputIntentSpectralData for CxF/X-4 spot-colour characterisation

The call requires PDF 2.0 and preserves the profile and production-condition entries of the selected output intent
