Description

Returns the zero-based UTF-16 index of the anchor edge of the directed selection of the active edit The anchor stays fixed while the caret extends the selection through shift-navigation, so a reversed selection reports an anchor greater than

SelectionCaret Selection changes that are not directed, such as

SetSelection, place the anchor and caret at the same converted positions
