Description

Returns the permanent byte string from the first entry of the selected document trailer /ID array

Return values

The raw permanent identifier as a WideString, or an empty string when no usable trailer identifier is available

Remarks

After a full unencrypted save with SetDeterministicDocumentID enabled, this value is either derived from the explicit SetDocumentIDSeed value or from normalised serialised content. Incremental and encrypted saves retain the permanent identifier required by the existing revision or encryption context
