تشير اللاحقة A إلى نقطة دخول DLL بصيغة ANSI (char)؛ وتبقى واجهة ActiveX/COM مكشوفةً بالصيغة Unicode فقط. والسلوك مطابق لـ GetImageListItemFormatDesc وتُفسر وسائط السلاسل بصفحة شيفرة SetAnsiMode الحالية
